OUR STORY

Two Bridges Lodge is the latest incarnation of this family-owned, family-run riverside resort in Bailey, Colorado. Owned and operated since 2021 by Bailey residents John & Sheri Bezzant, the property has been thoroughly updated for our guests' enjoyment.

JOHN & SHERI

We have lived in Colorado for nearly a quarter century, raised our children here, and love the mountains. When we decided to buy this property and embark on a new adventure, we were captivated by the river. Our vision was to create a boutique resort with modern, clean, and comfortable riverside accommodations, premier private water flyfishing, and top-notch service and amenities where families and friends can gather and enjoy the area we get to call home. We started out with a major improvement project in the river to enhance fishery habitat and have spent the last few years lovingly refreshing the Lodge and Vacation Homes. We have tried to maintain the unique mountain charm of our lodging while updating furnishings, finishes, and fixtures to modern standards. And in the process, we have incorporated a few of our favorite things from years of travel, including comfy linens and towels, handcrafted soaps from a local artisan, relaxing private decks overlooking the river, hot tubs at the houses, a steam room at Jack's, and, coming in summer 2025, a thermal experience at the Lodge with sauna, steam room, cold plunge, and an outdoor patio next to the lawn and river.

We believe we have created a unique and memorable destination for our guests, some of the finest flyfishing water in Colorado, and a place you will look forward to visiting again and again.  We and our team of family and friends look forward to welcoming you. Come see us soon...and let us know how we are doing!

JOSH

I am one of John and Sheri’s many sons. I am a college graduate with several years experience in the hospitality industry. This is my first management job and I couldn’t be more happy to be taking care of travelers here in beautiful Bailey. When you catch me on the property you can talk to me about anything! If you ask about fishing though, please know that I’ve never been a big fisherman—but that might change after a year or so working here.

We are located less than an hour from Denver, 30 minutes from Red Rocks, and right in the middle of the fabulous Colorado Rocky Mountains at nearly 7,800 feet elevation.

The Lodge is nestled on the banks of the North Fork of the South Platte River, with its own relaxing (and private to guests) catch-and-release fishing pond and picnic/play area. Adjacent to US Highway 285 and within walking distance of downtown Bailey's restaurants and attractions, the Lodge is part of the 40-acre Two Bridges Bailey resort property adjoining Pike National Forest.

We are close to Lost Creek Wilderness, South Park, the Colorado Trail, and numerous outdoor recreational opportunities in the area. With lodging choices ranging from hostel beds for Colorado Trail hikers (summer season only) to luxurious private riverside suites and homes year-round, Two Bridges Lodge offers you plenty of options for a comfortable stay while you enjoy all the hospitality and outdoor recreation Bailey has to offer.

Why are we called Two Bridges? Because the west end of our property is the concrete bridge over the river at Old Stagecoach Road leading to Jack's Place and the east end is near the wooden bridge that leads to the River House. In between is a half-mile of river and 40 acres of private vacation wonderland waiting for you to come to visit.

We appreciate your interest and look forward to seeing you soon!
