Snowmelt consists of a sauna, steam room, and cold plunge in the Lodge building and a sundeck beside the river. Access to Snowmelt is available to all Two Bridges Lodge guests staying in the Vacation Homes and Riverside Suites who are age 14 and above (guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). All guests intending to use the facility will need to sign the Two Bridges Lodge Activity Waiver and secure the door
access code prior to entry. If you intend to use Snowmelt, please come to the Two Bridges Lodge office before 6:00 p.m. on the date of check-in to secure the door code and spa towels.
Snowmelt is a thermal retreat with high temperatures, high humidity, and cold water intended for use as contrast therapy. Please use discretion when using these facilities. Cycle from hot to cold regularly. If you are pregnant, have cardiovascular or respiratory
issues, or begin to feel dizzy or overheated while using the facilities, we recommend you not use them. Bring a metal or plastic water bottle—there is a purified water station and an ice machine just outside Snowmelt for guest use.
TWO BRIDGES LODGE SNOWMELT THERMAL RETREAT RULES

1) Sign the Activity Waiver and secure the door code and a towel from the office prior to your initial use of Snowmelt. The office is only open until 6:00 p.m.
2) Please shower in your room before using Snowmelt. There is a change area inside with hooks and cubbies for your things.
3) Snowmelt operating hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. We have guest rooms above and adjacent to the facility and ask that you keep the volume down for the benefit of those guests.
4) Suitable attire is required in Snowmelt—please bring and wear your own clean swimsuit. Street attire, workout or hiking clothes, and underwear are not allowed.
5) Please use only the striped spa towels (available in the office when you get the door code) in Snowmelt. Do not bring room towels to Snowmelt. (First towel per person is free, additional towels can be rented for $2; $10 charge per towel if not returned.) You are welcome to bring your own robe, towels and sandals from home if you prefer to do so.
6) Please keep a towel underneath you in the sauna—for hygiene and to protect you from hot surfaces.
7) Limit yourself to 15 minutes in the sauna or steam room before a break, especially during the initial session. Take time to cool down in the cold plunge,on the benches inside, or on the chairs/loungers outside before re-entering the heat.
8) This is a co-ed facility shared amongst all our guests. Please be respectful of others in your dress, speaking volume, and social interactions. While Snowmelt was inspired by large European thermes and their relaxed sauna gardens, our space is fairly compact and we ask you to be thoughtful in sharing it with others.
9) Do not let people outside your party into the Snowmelt space unless they have a door code—no matter how much they ask, how nice they seem, or how attractive they may be! Keep the interior and exterior doors closed and the coded locks engaged. Each entrant needs to use the code to access Snowmelt. If we catch you letting others in, you will all be asked to leave the facility, the door codes will be changed, and you will not be allowed re-entry during your stay. Non-guests of Two Bridges Lodge are not allowed in Snowmelt at any time.
10) You are welcome to use water from the bar sink or the steam room shower to douse the rocks in the sauna. (Do not use the cold plunge water.) If there are other guests in the sauna at the time, ask them if they are okay with more steam before adding water. Please do not add any oils, essences, or other aromas to the water or rocks in the sauna or to the steam in the steam room.
11) Be careful entering and exiting the cold plunge and be aware of water on the floor. It may get slippery. The concrete patio outside may be wet or icy depending on the season. If the cold plunge is not cold enough for you, please advise a staff member and we will add some ice to it. Please do not take towels under water in the cold plunge.
12) No personal grooming is allowed in Snowmelt. Please avoid using strong perfumes or colognes during your visit.
13) Please do not use your phone while in Snowmelt. Leave it in your room or place it in a cubbie. This is a small, private, relaxing space where technology is not welcome. No photos of other guests are allowed.
14) No exercise, vigorous activity, or sexual activity is allowed in Snowmelt.
15) Please remove all jewelry before entering Snowmelt.
16) No glass bottles or glassware inside Snowmelt.
17) Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. The heat and the elevation team up against you on
this one. Don’t let them win!
18) Most importantly, be safe, relax, and have a good time!
